agree, you can't kick millions of people out. (also dont call them 'undocumented' that's just PR) we do need to take border security seriously though or the problem will NEVER stop regardless of what laws we pass. enforcement is just as important as having a law on the books…

right on. it's about laws, not about color. if the problem was millions of canadians pouring over our borders and causing trouble in our nation, i bet we'd get pissed eventually about that too!

Hi Jack, I don't think the "get out if you're illegal" can be a serious approach, as we currently have 20+ million undocumented immigrants living and working in the US. It's an idea that's impossible to implement and unconscionable to propose, in my opinion. I would like immigration reform to increase temporary worker programs, create a reliable forge-proof identity document, register all undocumented workers, and allow a path to citizenship for many in this massive part of our economy, possibly including language and history tests, paying back taxes, background checks, and community service.

Great shots — they vividly capture a very emotionally charged issue. The photo of the woman asking for her husband back and the shot of the ‘vivan los latinos’ are particularly stunning to me. Nice work!
